Should you upgrade to a LinkedIn Premium Company Page?

What is a LinkedIn Premium Company Page?

A LinkedIn Premium Company Page is a subscription that makes additional features available to enhance a company’s presence and engagement on the platform. More specifically, these features “will help users attract and convert more clients on the platform.” These exclusive features are:

  • Increased visibility into page visitors
  • Auto-invite engaged members and followers of similar pages
  • Custom profile call-to-action (CTA) button
  • Prominent, custom testimonial
  • Prominent display of credibility highlights such as awards, certifications, and news features.
  • AI-powered post writing assistance
  • Dynamic cover images
  • Gold, LinkedIn Premium logo

Who is this for?

Premium Company pages are gradually rolling out to company pages and are not currently available to all users. The rollout of this feature is predominantly being messaged as a tool for small businesses. However, companies in industries (ex: B2B) that are heavily reliant on word of mouth marketing and testimonials as part of their current lead generation efforts might also benefit.

Additional Considerations

Once the feature is available for your company page, an additional Premium Company Page subscription will be required. This is separate from a personal LinkedIn Premium subscription. Once purchased, all admins of the Company Page will have access to premium features. Reportedly, subscriptions will become available on a monthly or annual basis at $99/month or $69/month when billed annually.

Gupta Media’s Recommendation

LinkedIn Premium Company pages could support an active lead generation strategy on the platform, but should not be your only method for addressing lead-gen needs on the platform.

Why? Showcasing testimonials and awards and certifications are features currently available to pages on the platform, so it is unclear how a more prominent feature on a company’s page would impact lead generation efforts. And while a custom, prominent CTA might pique user interest, the ROAS of a Premium Company Page subscription would likely be more difficult to determine compared to the ROAS on ads as part of lead-gen campaigns on the platform.
