No one embodies the concept of wearing many hats more than Josh Anderson. In the literal sense, on any given day he can be seen roaming the office in a top hat, a scally cap or one of several fedoras. Figuratively, he is a man whose interest and expertise covers a wide variety of topics.
Josh graduated from WPI, where he majored in Computer Science. He built his first website when he was in 5th grade, as a place where he could showcase his collection of vintage license plates. A lifelong vocalist, Josh has lent his voice to everything from high school garage bands to a cappella groups to his own one-man-band MIDI setup. He makes frequent appearances on the Boston karaoke circuit, where he has successfully pulled off a real-life Rickroll on multiple occasions. Josh enjoys astronomy and is able to see Elon Musk’s future home from the high-powered telescope at his house. He is also a fantasy sports enthusiast, who made a name for himself here by outlasting most of the company after a week 1 loss in our two-strikes-you’re-out football survival pool, resulting in our founder having to do 100 push-ups.
Josh spends his weekdays here at Gupta Media working as a Software Engineer on the team we fondly refer to as “Bytes.” He has been instrumental in updating our in-house reporting suite, both by adding new features and migrating code to newer tools and frameworks. He helps us work more efficiently while bringing a great sense of humor to the job each day, and we are happy to have him on our team.
