For as long as Em can remember, music has been a big part of her life. She saw her first concert well before most people, at the age of five, and it was at this Toby Keith concert that she found her love for live performances. Today Em seeks out every opportunity to see her favorite performers in concerts and musicals and has seen over 75 shows. Some of her favorite memories have included seeing Ed Sheeran live from the front row and getting to see Hamilton on Broadway.
Originally from Vermont, Em moved to Boston to study audio production at Bay State College, in hopes of one day running her own recording studio. After taking courses exploring music marketing, and interning for a local festival production company, Em gained an appreciation for the business side of the industry, and ultimately graduated with a degree in Entertainment Management. Her experience working for music artists started even before working at Gupta Media. Throughout college Em worked at The Spot, a student-run music venue at Bay State College. As a talent buyer she was responsible for booking bands for weekly concerts, where she got to know talented and promising new artists in the Boston area.
When she’s not exploring new concert venues across Boston, you can often find Em performing herself! Since the age of 6 Em has loved singing, and she’s been playing the ukulele for the past 4 years. Em has also developed an extensive collection of over 20 vintage cameras while exploring her love for photography, and seeks out vintage shops around Boston hoping to find new cameras for her collection. With so much passion and experience Em is right at home at Gupta Media, and we’re more than lucky to have her on the team!
