Gogi Gupta has been named to Boston Magazine’s 2026 list of the Most Influential Bostonians, honoring leaders whose work shapes the culture, community, and future of the city and region. He joins a distinguished group of honorees across business, government, healthcare, culture, and civic life, including Mayor Michelle Wu, Fidelity CEO Abigail Johnson, Boston Foundation President Lee Pelton, and Boston Celtics world champion Jaylen Brown.

"When Mayor Wu needed someone to host her Content Creator Summit, she called Gupta. When Governor Healey needed digital muscle for the 250th celebrations, same call," the magazine noted, adding that Gupta's "Back Bay headquarters, newly doubled to 25,000 square feet, is becoming a gathering place for the city's creative class."
The recognition reflects a year in which Gogi's influence in Boston extended well beyond the advertising industry. Under his leadership, Gupta Media continued its rise as the city’s fastest-growing independent advertising agency, expanding its global client base across sports, entertainment, financial services, and direct-to-consumer marketing. The agency was named one the Boston Globe's Top Places To Work in 2025, the first ad agency to make the list in over a decade.
After opening expanded new offices in Boston's historic Back Bay last spring, Gupta Media partnered with the administration of Michelle Wu on Boston’s first-ever Creator Summit, a landmark event focused on the future of communication, culture, and city storytelling. The agency also supports statewide initiatives including #MA250, the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism's ongoing celebration of the Commonwealth's 250th anniversary, and the forthcoming launch of the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission's iLottery, which provides new funding for early childhood education and care to families across the state.
Gupta Media employees congratulated Gogi in this month's print issue of Boston Magazine, with a surprise ad celebrating "a city that believes in bold ideas and the people willing to chase them."

Founded in Boston in 2003, Gupta Media has grown into one of the nation’s leading independent marketing agencies, known for combining media, analytics, creative intelligence, and performance strategy. The firm works with major brands across music, sports, entertainment, finance, and the public sector. Gupta, its founder and CEO, has long championed the idea that a Boston company can compete globally while remaining deeply invested in the city it calls home.
