Challenge

In 2025, we helped SMX begin the season with a big idea and brand platform (Saturday is Race Day). The 2026 season required an evolution. The challenge was developing a campaign that could scale seamlessly across all phases of the ticketing journey: lead generation, presale, on-sale, and main flight. Capturing full-funnel engagement with creative tailored to 16 different locations, GO was designed to generate awareness and drive performance.

Solution

Our 2026 creative answer not only claimed a day but claimed action and impact. "GO" used high-octane messaging and imagery to drive ticket sales and engage audiences with a real SMX brand experience. A natural CTA, "GO," was an invitation, an ask, and an energy that conveyed motion, urgency, and the need to be part of the moment, while retaining the brand equity of "Saturday is Race Day.”

Media utilized a market-obsessed strategy optimized for agility and localized relevance. The media mix included Connected TV (CTV), Meta, Snapchat, Google Performance Max (PMax), and TikTok. Throughout the season, a hyper-focus on geo-targeting and pacing ensured ads hit markets at peak conversion windows during the main flight.

And the results spoke for themselves, filling stadiums from Anaheim to Philadelphia.

Results

You could say GO . . . went off:

  • Multiple sellout events, including Anaheim twice, San Diego, and Salt Lake City.

  • Extraordinary SMX ticket sales in Indianapolis, Glendale, and record-setting revenue in Denver.

  • Over 118 million impressions.

  • 26.6K Purchases
