Gupta Media is looking for a Marketing Manager that will help increase the profile of our brand as an agency, reach out to new clients, and grow our business. This role is primarily focused on internal initiatives focused on agency growth, and you will be working closely with the CEO/Founder and upper management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Business Blog / Socials
    • Produce compelling content for our audience of current and prospective clients. 
      • Experience with digital advertising will be necessary to choose and write about relevant topics with the right perspective.
      • Editing skills for assisting Founder/CEO and upper management in writing insightful, well-written pieces faster.
    • Experience with services like WordPress, Hubspot, basic HTML/CSS, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite are a plus.
  • Case Studies
    • The marketing manager will be tasked with the development of case studies and other new content to attract people to the site. 
    • Ability to collaborate with media team members, collect insights, structure a narrative, and write/produce the case study for the company site.
  • Paid Acquisition
    • SEM – Google Search, Bing
    • Socials – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
    • Display – GDN, YouTube
    • Email – Mailchimp, Drip, etc…
      • Manage automated email strategy, maintain CRM system, draft email blasts. 
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Media/PR – Looking for press opportunities and setting up interviews / features with relevant media outlets. Submissions for advertising awards.
    • Designing e-books/PDFs for industry-specific strategy.
    • Assisting with pitch decks and/or assisting on RFP construction.
    • Excellent communication skills and an ability to speak with prospective clients. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in copywriting, digital marketing or PR.
  • Are motivated, self-starters that set and achieve their own goals. They can effectively contribute without being closely managed.
  • Love lead generation and have a demonstrated ability for creating content that attracts new business.
  • Can develop an overall strategy, pitch to stakeholders, work to a timeline, and, when necessary, can organize team members to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Have an established marketing skill set having worked cross functionally delivering campaigns, publishing articles and blogs, and generating a professional social media following (Writing samples are a must).
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, in order to pitch new ideas and fully understand media team’s latest strategies.
  • Will learn Gupta Media inside and out, and can speak fluently about our core competencies and capabilities as an agency.
