For Star Wars fanatics and movie-goers a like, the latest installment of the Star Wars franchise was a force to be reckoned with. From the big screen and department store shelves, Star Wars made its way back into our hearts and, surprisingly, into our record collections. John Williams’ powerful soundtrack was released on vinyl, by Walt Disney Records, complete a TIE fighter hologram. The unique feature has to be seen to be believed. Audiences could explore the product without leaving their Facebook newsfeeds. In addition, HTML5 display ads and preroll advertisements supported the media campaign.




In the right Headspace.

In addition to the soundtrack and vinyl editions of the soundtrack, Headspace featured variations of the soundtrack as interpreted by a selection of top electronic artists. To announce this unique soundtrack alternative, Walt Disney Music group commissioned a typographic image to replace the run-of-the-mill press release.
