Media Representation

Gupta Media provides specialized media sales representation programs for certain high-profile, high-value events.

By having expertise on both the buy side and the sell side of the media equation, we are uniquely suited to allow clients to offload activities such as sponsorship sales, new business development and co-promotion to our team.

The first step in our process is defining the value proposition for both our client and any possible Sponsors. Since Gupta Media also has experience on the buy side, we know what value Sponsors are seeking and how they evaluate and value Sponsorship opportunities.

After we have developed our understanding of your event, our team will begin assembling strategies that combine onsite opportunities with the Sponsors' business goals. By having a thorough knowledge of the event, its audience and the Sponsors' goals, we are able to create packages that position the Sponsor's brand in a positive light.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so we'll share some of our highlights:

Mountain Dew rolled into E3 in style! We worked with team at Pepsi Cola North America & their agencies (TribalDDB and EuroRSCG Impact) to find a high-visiblity location for the Mountain Dew rig. This rig is ONLY used at E3! The rig combined with 25,000 bottles of free Dew and amazing prizes (like the chance to win 1 of the first 100 copies of Gears of War a week before street date!), make it easy to see why this was a huge hit with the E3 audience.

When was the last time a business conference had a TV deal? Gupta Media brokered the first of its kind live broadcast deal with G4 for its live coverage of E3 2006. In 2007, G4 is coming back to the downsized E3 Media & Business Summit with a similar presence. Gupta Media realized that these events have huge, information-hungry audiences and that catering to the audience would benefit everyone involved.

Spike TV wanted to take care of the show's VIPs. They completely "pimped" the retailer lounge, no more gem walls and gross sofas. Spike's sponsorship included the VIP Retailer Lounge, limo service for the retailers and other high-end goodies. By catering to the most important people at E3, Spike was able to position itself as an "in the know" media partner for video game launches.
